It only took an hour and 32 minutes, but Alex de Minaur has delivered one of the most complete performances of his career to progress into the quarter finals of the Australian Open.
The World No. 6 has managed to defeat No. 10 seed Alexander Bublik 6-4, 6-1, 6- in front of a raucous crowd at Rod Laver Arena that was in admiration of his performance.
The Aussie was simply too good throughout the course of the game, with Bublik looking outclassed throughout the match.
Whether it be winning 81% of his first serve points (compared to Bublik's 54%) or the Kazakhstani not getting a single break point, it was simply dominant.
He was also helped by the fact that Bublik hit 36 unforced errors throughout the match compared to de Minaur's 10.
It would leave SEN Tennis' Brett Phillips in awe of the performance.
"He has absolutely taken Alexander Bulbik to the cleaners," he said on commentary.
De Minaur now has a date with World No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz in the quarter finals.
That will likely be played on Tuesday night at Rod Laver Arena.
