Collingwood approach Brisbane star to discuss potential deal

Collingwood have approached two-time Premiership Lion Zac Bailey about a potential deal with the club following his contract expiry.Bailey - whose contract expires at the end of the 2026 season - has attracted interest from a range of clubs, and as reported by 7news journalist Xander McGuire, the Magpies have made initial contact with the star forward/midfielder.
"Collingwood has approached Zac Bailey about a future in black and white," McGuire said.
"The Pies aren’t alone - with Adelaide, Port Adelaide and Essendon also registering interest in the 26 year old Lion... who will be one of the hottest free agents of 2026."
Beyond the Pies, all of Port Adelaide, Adelaide and Essendon have reported interest in Bailey’s services.
At 26 years of age, the Premiership star will be one of the most desired players of the 2026 off-season, entering free agency at season’s end.
