“Zero interest”: Demons veteran not on Dogs’ radar

Melbourne’s Steven May has this week been linked with a potential move to the Western Bulldogs.
The Herald Sun reported that the Bulldogs could make a move for the veteran Demon this trade period to address their defensive frailties.
However, SEN’s Sam Edmund says no contact has been made by the Dogs and it seems highly unlikely that they’ll make a move.
“The reports were that the Western Bulldogs would make a move for him,” Edmund said on SEN’s Whateley.
“I’ve spoken to the Dogs. There is zero interest from the Dogs.
“Categoric, no interest, no contact, not happening. Well, at the 27th of August, categorically not happening.
“I’ll leave myself a one per cent chance, but that’s not happening.”
May, 33, is contracted with the Demons until the end of next year.
