Trade talk: Manager speaks on the three offers free agent is weighing up
Free agent Brayden Fiorini is weighing up offers from Port Adelaide and Essendon as he considers leaving Gold Coast this off-season.
While the Suns want to keep hold of the 123-game midfielder, Bravo Talent Management’s Liam Pickering, who helps James Pitcher manage the 28-year-old, says Fiorini has some thinking to do after being impressed by a meeting with Port Adelaide in recent days.
“Yeah, they (Port Adelaide) did (impress him), he said it went really well, he was impressed with the vision of the club,” Pickering said on SEN SA The Run Home.
“He's got three options, really. He's got Gold Coast who want to keep him, Port want to get him, and Essendon want to get him.
“He’s got some thinking to do.”

While Fiorini wasn’t a first-choice player at Gold Coast throughout the entire season, playing just 18 games, once he broke into the side, he made his mark on a wing, leading the Suns to make an offer to keep him.
Pickering says both clubs that are chasing him also now see Fiorini as a winger, despite most of his 123 AFL games coming as an inside midfielder.
“In the first half dozen weeks of the year, he's running around having 48 and 50 touches in the twos and couldn't get in,” Pickering said.
“But then he got in, and he’s been an inside mid most of his career, but they found a role for him on the wing, and he played it really well.
“All of a sudden, he became an integral part of their team, so they don't want to lose him now.
“But it took us a while to get an offer from them, which is all changed because of his other interests.
“At Port, they want him for a wing position. Essendon want him to play wing. Where it lands, I don't know yet, but he was impressed with them (Port) the other day.”
Fiorini will be free to accept an offer from any club given his status as an unrestricted free agent.
The free agency period opens on Friday, October 3, at 9am and closes on Friday, October 10, at 5pm.
