Ken Hinkley has listed his Top 10 howlers of the 2026 AFL season to date.
Scouring the season's standout blunders and bloopers so far, Hinkley has named the AFL's errors during the campaign to date.
"There are quite a few - it was a hard list to bring together,” Hinkley said on SEN’s Sportsday.

10 - Timeclock Blunders
“My solution? Go buy a Rolex for the timekeepers. It'll never let you down.
"You'll be able to look at your watch and go - that's time on, that's time off, that's time for the siren. Blow the horn. It's not that hard."
9 - Whiteboard Gate
“Buy a blind. Go down to Bunnings and buy a blind, and pull it down.”
8 - The Stand Rule
"I'm sick of playing bobs and statues with the players. The stand rule is out for me."
7 - Fixture Issues
“Whether it be opening round, four byes in the first five rounds, the last five weeks of byes, double up games on a Friday night, or even very average games at different times.
"Just get rid of the issues."
6 - The Bunbury Kangaroos
“You cannot be the Bunbury Roos and get beat by 124 points.
"I understand and I totally support looking after your club commercially, but you just can't go down by 120."
5 - The ARC
“The ARC is flooded.
"We go back to the (Tom) Atkins against Adelaide where he conned the umpire into giving him the free, and only a small margin loss after it went straight down to a Geelong goal. We saw it again with Riley Thilthorpe in the Showdown this weekend."
"The ARC hasn't been great."
4 - Callaghan's Spoil Mark
“The umpire paid the mark for a punch of the ball that went about 7.5 metres and said that's a mark. Hate that.”
3 - Troubled Suns
“0-5 since Darwin, that's been a blooper. They're in trouble.”
2 - Butters' Tribunal Show
"Dogs barking in the background of the Team's tribunal. We had to come back and appeal that we had a debacle as a tribunal and they let it go - and what did we find out? Nothing."
1 - Watson and Morris non-goals
“Wizard Watson goal from a few weeks back and the Logan Morris goal on the weekend - kicking over the man on the mark - it's just not that hard.
"When you interfere, and you get it badly wrong, I'm just not sure what you can do."
Honourable mention: Carlton
"The Carlton players and their fadeout - that was a blooper for Vossy unfortunately.
"They were in so many games at the start of the year and just didn’t get over the line. It might've been a whole different story for Michael if they had have won two or three of those chances they had.”
