AFL’s Swann explains rule adjudications amid fan frustration

The AFL’s EGM Football Performance, Greg Swann, has touched on a number of rules within the game and how he thinks they are being adjudicated at this stage of the 2026 season.

Swann joined Gerard Whateley to discuss all the topical issues and frustrations that face our great game including refinement of the ruck rule, the lasso rule, shot clock exploitation, kicking over the man on the mark, the standard of umpiring and much more.
