King suffers yet another injury set back
St Kilda’s Max King has suffered yet another injury setback, which will see him sidelined until the end of January.
It was reported by Channel 7’s Xander McGuire that the key forward will require even more knee surgery after having missed the entire 2025 season.
The injury was initially sustained in a practice match at the start of the year and has had three follow-up surgeries on that troublesome right knee.
It appeared that he would be fit and firing for next year, with the club’s medical staff having been pleased by his recovery back in September.
The 25-year-old has only managed to play 83 games since being drafted in 2018 with Pick 4.
His last game was back in Round 16 against Port Adelaide in 2024.
His contract with the Saints runs through to 2032.
