Gallop off to the tribunal after dangerous push
Brisbane's Ty Gallop will face the music for serious misconduct at the tribunal after the AFL's Match Review Officer directly referred the second-year Lion.
Gallop has been charged with serious misconduct following an incident which saw him grab the back of Mitch Georgiades' jumper after laying a tackle to bring him to ground.
Once the Port Adelaide forward reached the ground, the premiership player then raised Georgiades up the jumper before then pushing his head straight into the turf after the play.
As a result, a push in the back free kick was paid to Port Adelaide.
The tribunal will make a decision on the case during the week.
