Snoop Dogg will perform at the AFL Grand Final this afternoon after being locked in as the pre-game entertainment by Andrew Dillon.
The American rapper has been trailed by a mob of media and fans since touching down in Australia.
On Friday night he performed at the Espy in St Kilda to a baying crowd and included his hits Drop It Like It’s Hot and Gin and Juice and Puff Daddy’s I’ll Be Missing You.
He is due on stage at the MCG at 1:30pm AEST.
Earlier this week, Snoop showed off his impressive footy skills with the Daicos brothers at the MCG before declaring he is “in love” with the sport.
"I've been coming to this country for years and I understand what this game is and what it means," he told Australian media at a function where no questions were permitted.
"I know that it's not just a sport, it's a way of life. I just fell in love with the sport," he added.
"I always would watch it, but never really understood it.
"It reminded me of American football, rugby and a couple of other things, but now that I understand it, I like it and want to know more about it before the grand finale."
