Inside the raucous Lions celebrations after going back-to-back
The Brisbane Lions sure know how to celebrate a Premiership.
Vowing to go bigger and better than last year, there were raucous scenes inside the rooms after they defeated Geelong by 47 points at the MCG.
Logan Morris said the plan was “just have a crack” when it came to the celebrating.
“Just follow the older boys, they will take you under their wing,” he told the Herald Sun.
“All the vibes are up, we will celebrate a great season. The boys will enjoy tonight and probably the rest of the week.”
Darcy Wilmot was the ringleader, using his can of beer as a phone and yelling "Ayyo shawty, pick up the phone!"
The club song followed and the party was in full swing.
They will have no lie-in this morning either with a trip to Fitzroy on the cards before the fly back home.
There was also the traditional ice bucket of gatorade for coach Chris Fagan.
Since taking over at the Lions in 2017, he has guided the side not only to three straight Grand Finals but also through one of their toughest times.
