Report: Kylie Minogue set to perform on Grand Final day
Those attending the AFL Grand Final this year are set to be spinning around to the music of Kylie Minogue on Australian Football’s biggest day.
Reported by Channel 7’s Mitch Cleary, the former Neighbours star turned singer will be officially confirmed as the headline act for the match within the next week.
It will be the first time since Birds of Tokyo in 2021 that an Australian music act headlines the Grand Final entertainment.
Throughout her decades-long career, Minogue has had several hits reach the #1 billing on the ARIA Charts with songs such as ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’, ‘Locomotion’, and ‘2 Hearts’.
This comes after the news that this year's and next year’s Grand Final will be played in its traditional timeslot of 2:30pm.
