Odds and predictions: SEN's ultimate Brownlow Medal guide
Jaiden Sciberras • September 21st, 2025 8:38 pm

The most glamourous night on the AFL calendar is upon us, with Monday night playing host to the 2025 Brownlow Medal award ceremony.
Held at Crown Melbourne’s Palladium, the Brownlow Medal credits the AFL’s best and fairest player across the entirety of the season, as voted by the operating field umpires at the conclusion of each home and away game.
The four adjudicating umpires for each individual home and away fixture come together to award votes to the players they believe to be the best on ground, the three votes awarded to best on, two votes to second best and one vote to third best.
Each vote is sealed until the AFL’s night of nights, in which AFL commissioner Andrew Dillon will reveal the votes game by game and round by round. The player with the most votes at the conclusion of Round 24 is awarded with the competition’s most coveted prize – the Brownlow Medal.
In 2024, Carlton captain Patrick Cripps claimed his second career Brownlow Medal, polling a record-breaking 45 votes in one of the most remarkable counts in the history of the sport. Trailing Cripps was Collingwood superstar Nick Daicos, who – in unprecedented circumstances – also exceeded the previous record of 36 votes, polling 38 in a remarkable second-place effort.
Having finished within the top three in back-to-back seasons, Daicos enters the 2025 count as the outright favourite to claim his maiden award following a stellar showing over the season.
SEN.com.au has compiled a range of odds from Australia’s major betting companies, compiling a series of predicted tallies and monetary values in an ultimate guide to the 2025 Brownlow Medal.
