"No excuses left": The team under the most pressure in Round 7
SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 7.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.

1 – St Kildavs West Coast – Marvel Stadium – Sunday
“This is the weekend where the Saints have no excuses left, just must win,” Russell told SEN's Dwayne's World.
“At Marvel against the 15th-placed team in the ladder. Last week, I'll accept it, a one-point loss to Adelaide in Adelaide after staying there for the whole week against last year's minor premier. Nearly stole it, it's a fair performance and it's a sellable excuse.
“But the Saints are 13th, two wins, four losses. They have to start banking some wins against teams below them.”
2 - GWS Giantsvs North Melbourne – Corroboree Group Oval Manuka – Sunday
“I've got the Giants at two.
“They slip under the radar a bit because they have the smallest and quietest fanbase in the AFL, and when they lose it's a bit like a tree falling in the forest.
“The Giants are supposed to be a premiership contender, and yes, they've got some injuries, but so do most clubs. They are 14th right now, two wins and four losses, and a loss for the hot North would be a sign of deeper troubles.
“In Canberra, over to you Giants.”
3 – Collingwoodvs Essendon - MCG – Saturday
“I do have Collingwood at three.
“You can't lose to Essendon on Anzac Day and not then acknowledge that maybe this Collingwood is nowhere near the Collingwood of the last few seasons. They are 11th now, 3-3 - the jury's out still on where Collingwood is at.
“A loss, hanging around 13th-14th, it's going to be a difficult sell for Collingwood to say that their future is bright and the cliff isn't coming.
“They've got to bank this one against Essendon.”
4 - Richmondvs Melbourne – MCG – Friday
“I've actually got Richmond at four.
“I don't expect Richmond to win, there's not an expectation for Richmond to win, but there is an expectation that they don't get smashed, and show a style that has a see-able method with a long-term goal of success in it.
“It's a big stage, Anzac Eve, Friday night against Melbourne, and there's a responsibility to be better than their last five performances. There is an expectation that Richmond has to be better than that, even if it isn't an expectation for them to win.”
5 – Brisbanevs Adelaide - Gabba – Sunday
“I've got the Lions in there.
“The Lions at the Gabba against the Crows. Lose a second in a row, and the Lions drop to 3-4 and they'll be out of the top 10, which would be very surprising to me.
“I think they've still got the best list in the comp.”
