“Embarrassed”: The team under the most pressure in Round 14
SEN • June 11th, 2026 7:15 pm

SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 14.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.
1 – North Melbournevs West Coast - Optus Stadium – Saturday
“Number one, North Melbourne,” Russell told SEN's Dwayne's World.
“Embarrassed last week. Smashed in a home game they sold for money, which adds another level to the embarrassment, the way I see it.
“Must bounce back, otherwise they are looking at finishing 14th or 15th this year, which isn't a great jump.
“They've got a tough run after this. They've got to get some work done and make sure they beat the West Coast Eagles.”
2 - Geelongvs Gold Coast – GMHBA Stadium – Friday
“I've got Geelong at two.
“The Cats have lost their last two in a row. The Gold Coast are on the ropes, and it's at GMHBA Stadium.
“The Cats lose this, and I reckon their top two chances are over. This is a big one for the Cats tomorrow night.”
3 - Gold Coastvs Geelong – GMHBA Stadium – Friday
“The Gold Coast at some stage have to stop reconfirming the stereotype that when the whips are cracking, when the expectations are high, they wilt.
“This is a big moment in the Gold Coast's history. Their window is open to win a flag right now, to make a Grand Final right now, to have their best season they have ever had.
“They can't blow it this year.”
4 – St Kildavs GWS Giants – Marvel Stadium – Sunday
“They are playing some good footy, St Kilda, but they are still coming off three losses in a row.
“Got to tick this one off, home game against the Giants.”
5 – Brisbanevs Richmond – Ninja Stadium – Sunday
“I know Brisbane won last week, but it's a bit of a danger game, playing in Hobart.
“Can't go down there and play in what might end up being 13, 14 degrees, get beaten, and have all of last week's work undone.
“I reckon Brisbane is in the pressure meter, even though they won last week.”
