SEN • July 30th, 2026 7:20 pm

SEN’s Dwayne Russell has named the five teams under the most pressure heading into Round 21.
Russell’s pressure meter ranks teams from 1-5, with number one having the most pressure on them and the most to lose heading into the round.
Check out Russell’s pressure meter below.
1 – Melbournevs Gold Coast - People First Stadium – Sunday
“It's a massive danger game for Melbourne,” Russell told SEN's Dwayne's World.
“They lost last week to Geelong, if they lose a second game in a row, their top six chances are in jeopardy.
“I reckon the Gold Coast in Gold Coast, now that they can't make the 10 and all the pressure is off, they might play their best footy of the year.
“I think it's a danger game.”
2 - Sydneyvs St Kilda – Marvel Stadium – Saturday
“I think it's a huge danger game for Sydney as well.
“Marvel Stadium, Saints are going okay. Sydney, if they lose, will probably drop out of the top two.
“I think it's a huge game for the Sydney Swans as well.”
3 – GWS Giantsvs Port Adelaide - Adelaide Oval – Saturday
“It is a virtual elimination final for the Giants against Port Adelaide in Adelaide.”
4 - North Melbournevs Hawthorn – UTAS Stadium – Saturday
“Some people might have North Melbourne at one given the week they've just had.
“They've lost four in a row, their coach is under pressure to keep his job.
“Hawthorn in Launceston and then the Bulldogs at Marvel, Geelong at Marvel, Sydney at the SCG - that's the way it finishes for North Melbourne.
“It's a pretty tough run, and you wouldn't want to be finishing your season with eight losses in a row.”
5 – Adelaidevs Essendon - Marvel Stadium – Sunday
“It's a huge game at Marvel Stadium for the Adelaide Crows.
“I do expect Adelaide to win, but I've got them at five in the pressure meter, only because I do expect them to beat Essendon at Marvel. ”
