Collingwood pair sidelined as pre-season injuries pile up
In what has been a horror day for injuries across the AFL, Collingwood’s key defensive stocks have suffered a short-term blow with both captain Darcy Moore and veteran Jeremy Howe enduring calf strains.
As initially reported by AFL.com.au reporter Josh Gabelich, the pair both suffered the injuries on Monday morning, with scans revealing that the duo will remain sidelined for at least the next fortnight.
These come on a day that has already seen Carlton’s Jesse Motlop and North Melbourne’s Jackson Archer both sidelined for the season with ACL ruptures.
More to come.
