Crows fear recruit suffered serious injury during Origin
Callum Ah Chee is in doubt for Round 1 with a potentially serious hamstring injury suffered in State of Origin.
Ah Chee is being scanned today. The Crows are hoping for the best, but fear there may be some tendon damage.
Ah Chee had a low grade hamstring strain before Christmas, but this strain is considered more serious.
Sources said it was certainly worse than 1-2 week injury for the Crows recruit.
Ah Chee, a dual Brisbane Lions premiership player, joined Adelaide in the pre-season draft after a trade stalemate between the two clubs.
He was one of a number of players injured including Sam Taylor and Jacob Weitering in the otherwise successful return of Origin football.
