Richmond adds premiership pair to coaching ranks
Premiership players Luke Breust and Taylor Duryea have both joined Richmond’s coaching ranks.
The Tigers have confirmed that recently-retired Hawthorn great Breust will be joined his former Hawks teammate Duryea as development coaches at Punt Road.
Breust, a three-time flag winner, and Duryea, who won two flags before joining the Western Bulldogs, will work closely with Richmond’s bevy of emerging stars.
“We are investing in putting the best people around our young players to ensure that they have every chance of success in their AFL careers,” Richmond’s EGM Football Performance Tim Livingstone said in a club statement.
“All of these guys are driven, experienced and successful in their own right and will be great assets for our football department.
“We welcome Luke and Taylor and their families to Richmond.”
Both Breust and Duryea worked with Tigers coach Adem Yze at the Hawks during his nine-year stint there from 2011 to 2020.
