In his first season at the Eagles, Liam Baker has been awarded the 2025 John Worsfold Medal at West Coast’s best and fairest award night.
The recruit who joined the Eagles from Richmond managed to average a career high 22 disposals per game and has been a bright spot for West Coast in a tough season where they finished with a 1-22 record.
Coming in as runner-up was Reuben Ginbey. The third-year Eagle, after receiving the emerging talent award in his debut season by the club, has continued his progression in the AFL as a defender, gaining 286 votes in the count.
This also coincides with Ginbey receiving the best defender award.
Having just re-signed with the club, Harley Reid would finish third, having improved from ninth place last year with 267 votes.
Jack Graham, who also joined the Eagles from Richmond last year, and Brady Hough would round out the top five, with only two votes splitting the duo.
In the other award categories, Liam Duggan was awarded the Best Clubman, while Clay Hall won the Emerging Talent Award.
