St Kilda star Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera has turned his back on rival interest to remain at St Kilda beyond 2025, according to AFL Media’s Cal Twomey.
Twomey understands that the 22-year-old is now set to sign a two-year extension at the Saints, where he’ll become the AFL’s first $2 million a season player.
The South Australian, who was taken with Pick 11 in the 202 draft, was the subject of interest from Adelaide and Port Adelaide but has committed to the Saints.
Wanganeen-Milera has emerged as one of the most dynamic rebounding defenders in the game and has also shown supreme ability as a midfielder while also impacting whenever sent forward.
He has averaged 30.2 disposals, 5.7 rebound 50s, 3.8 inside 50s and three clearances and is firmly in the mix for All-Australian selection.
More to come.
