Dees delist five in first off-season shift
The Melbourne Demons have offloaded five senior players, commencing their off-season changes ahead of 2026.
26-year-old Tom Fullarton has been let go by the club having featured in just two games in 2025. Joining from the Lions in 2023, Fullarton only mounted two senior games with Melbourne, totalling 21 across two clubs since 2020.
Young midfielder Kynan Brown has been cut from the list having also played just two games since his arrival at the Demons. Taken in the 2023 rookie draft, Brown featured twice at senior level in 2024, failing to break into the side this season.
Untried pair Will Verrall and Oliver Sestan have been let go without a senior appearance, having both been recruited in the 2022 rookie draft.
The fifth change sees veteran defender Marty Hore leave the club after seven seasons. Drafted in the fourth round of the 2018 National Draft, Hore featured 14 times in 2019 and six times in 2024, failing to break into the senior side since the final round of last season.
“On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to thank Tom, Kynan, Ollie, Will and Marty for all that they’ve given to the program over their respective journeys,” Melbourne List Manager Tim Lamb said.
“They will always be part of the extended Melbourne family, and we wish them the best for what comes next.”
