DEFENDERS
βJosh Worrell is in. Amazing year intercepting in the back line,β Cooney said on SEN Breakfast.
βIβve got Sam Taylor in at full-back. Now I know he's missed a fair chunk of footy, but I think he's been the premier full-back this season.
βBailey Dale or Lachie Ash in the other back pocket, take your pick. I'll just go with the Dogs flavour.
βNasiah at half-back. Harris Andrews is a lock at centre half-back. I went with Jordan Clark on the other half-back flank.
βAndrews is my captain.β
MIDFIELD
βThe two wingers who aren't really wingers, Bailey Smith and Max Holmes, so two Cats on the wings.
βIn the middle of the ground, Brodie Grundy is my ruck over Max Gawn. Max had a great year with a slowish start, and he hasn't dominated games the way he has done in the past, and I think Brodie Grundy has.
βI think Brodie Grundy's had more impact, in terms of when Sydney have played well than Max Gawn for Melbourne.
βI went with Jordan Dawson, had a great year. Nick Daicos slides in there.
βAnd Noah Anderson, he's had a couple of down weeks, but I think he's done enough to get a starting spot in the midfield.β
FORWARDS
βAnderson just pushes Hughie McCluggage to half-forward.
βRiley Thilthorpe, he locks himself in at centre half-forward. Isaac Heeney, goal-kicking mid who rests at half-forward.
βKozzie Pickett in the pocket, Jezza Cameron picks himself, and a big weekend recently from Jack Gunston sees him go in the other forward pocket.
βSo, I've got three talls in my front six.β
INTERCHANGE
βOn my pine is Matt Rowell, and Ed Richards, I think he's done enough.
βMarcus Bontempelli missed a lot, but he's dominated. He might even tie for the Brownlow this year.
βAnd rounding out the interchange is Finn Callaghan. I love him.β
