50 years on: North legends reminisce on breakthrough '75 flag

50 years on, this week’s episode of This Is Your Journey – thanks to Tobin Brothers is a 1975 VFL premiership special.
With the flag North Melbourne’s first in the V/AFL competition, it’s a winning moment that means most to the Kangaroos.
North won the huge clash by 55 points over Hawthorn, with the first taste of the ultimate success coming 50 years into the club’s history at the top level.
Brownlow and Coleman winner Malcolm Blight was perhaps North’s best player at the time and the Australian football Hall of Fame Legend joined the show to reminisce on the historical game.
He was joined by centreman John Burns, who kicked four goals to go with 19 disposals on the day, in this week’s special episode.
The duo discussed their ’75 GF memories and much more.
