Expert form analyst Mark Hunter has taken a look at both the Pakenham Cup and million-dollar Supernova at Pakenham.

Hunter has one horse on top for the Listed Race and it's the favourite - Skippers Canyon.
“I’ll tip No.16 Skippers Canyon, I think it will win,” Hunter told SENTrack & RSN’s Giddy Up.
“I just think it’s a pretty decent horse.
“Getting back to the home track theory we saw Deakin at Pakenham just bolt in and Skippers Canyon might be another horse like Deakin.
“I’ve got no issue with him at 2500m.
“I think Skippers Canyon will win the race, so confident it will win.”

“I think he’s got to have a bad day to lose here, Private Eye,” Hunter admitted.
“He’s just better than them.
“He was far too good for Here To Shock and Warnie (in the Moonga).
“Willo (Craig Williams) takes the ride, he will go forward… As long as he doesn’t do too much work – just go forward, get a nice run, control the race – unless he has a bad day, I don’t see how he doesn’t win.
“I think Taken is the wildcard (though).”
