__R1 – 6.30pm – Hygain Breeders Crown (3yo Trotting Colts & Geldings) (Heat) – 2150m__
7 – Valtino
4 – Mister Blindside
6 – Kyvalley Michael
1 – Remus Phoenix
Valtino was super in the Victoria Trotters Derby when finishing second behind superstar filly Keayang Zahara. Although Mister Blindside looks to have a better barrier on paper, I don’t think it’s a good barrier for a trotter that can do things wrong. Valtino’s experience and manners will take him a long way in this event.
__BACK:__ 7 Valtino – 2 Units (win)

__R2 – 6.57pm – Woodlands Stud Pace – 1650m__
8 – Nai Harn Bay
3 – That Maj Ya Look
9 – Tooby Gold
7 – Martha Lavinia
Nai Harn Bay’s recent sectional times have been significantly better than the rest of this field. It’s a poor barrier for him, but if he finds some luck he looks to be too good in this event.
__BACK:__ 8 Nai Harn Bay – 2 Units (win)

__R3 – 7.30pm – Betavet Breeders Crown (2yo Trotting Colts & Geldings) (1st Heat) – 2150m__
6 – Commodus
8 – Rainbow Jester
2 – Enchauffour
1 – Alrighty
Commodus sectionally is racing at least a second better than most of these runners. He is ultra consistent and well behaved. Rainbow Jester is very short in the market; however, he has been doing things wrong in his runs recently and Commodus looks value.
__BACK:__ 6 Commodus – 4 Units (win)

__R4 – 8.00pm – Betavet Breeders Crown (2yo Trotting Colts & Geldings) (2nd Heat) – 2150m__
1 – Sam Nien
5 – Tenasea Whiskey
2 – Speedy Comet
3 – Fritsch

__R5 – 8.30pm – Hyland Harness Colours Breeders Crown (3yo Trotting Fillies) (1st Heat) – 2150m__
4 – Malibuu
3 – Jilliby Ballerini
2 – With Aplomb
6 – Third Eye
I have great respect for Jilliby Ballerini, however, comparing Malibuu’s NSW performances to Jilliby Ballerini’s local runs, sectionally there’s very little separating them. Malibuu is a safe trotter and could potentially cross to the front early. Unless she gets caught in the breeze, Malibuu looks better value in this event.
__BACK:__ 4 Malibuu – 2 Units (win)

__R6 – 9.00pm – Mimosa Homes Breeders Crown (2yo Trotting Fillies) (1st Heat) – 2150m__
7 – No Money No Honey
1 – Shes Sky High
5 – Kinvara Kate
3 – Tracy The Jet

__R7 – 9.30pm – Mimosa Homes Breeders Crown (2yo Trotting Fillies) (2nd Heat) – 2150m__

1 – Sassy Galleon
4 – Keayang Kurki
3 – Carla Pixie Nz

6 – Violet Stanford
1 – Centurion Dream
4 – No Telling Heather
2 – Keayang Brandy
