Cam Luke & Campbell Brown have your Tuesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Moruya, Wodonga & Bowen to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
Moruya: Race 3, No.5 - GIRLS WEEKENDThis is a nice little speed map bet. She is down from 1200 in a similar race at Kembla Grange. Will hold the fence and be able to go at the pace the jockey wants. Captain Nay won’t be far away and is the obvious danger in the new stable but I think Girls Weekend can get away with racing murder and pinch this.
Moruya: Race 6, No.7 - ALOTTOSAYI liked this girl before the fave got scratched so a little flat with the shortening price but still, winners are winners. Little freshen up will keep her sharp. This is harder but she so deserves the progression to a 66. Has won here before and the 1200 is her jam. Jackpot Stat out might burst the speed a little, which she will need, but as long as Fire And Gemstone and Fourcade supply enough toe early I think they’ll go quick enough. This race sets up similar to when she won here and hoping today happens the same!
Moruya: Race 7, No.8 - DUPLI KATEWas pretty good first-up in a tougher race and Tuileries form is good for this!! Was in incredible form last prep winning three in a row including the Wagga Guineas. Stays at the 1400 which works, soft or even drying track wouldn’t hurt. Epaullo Creed, Beauer & Prince Aurelius will supply the speed giving Dupli Kate the chance to rattle home and be too good!
Wodonga: Race 1, No.2 - ETERNITY STARLiked his run first-up where he was wide albeit with cover when it mattered, hit a flat spot but then hit the line pretty well suggesting that second-up to a mile will work. His first prep was like this second-up jump and he ran well, so expecting similar improvement. Much better gate today and expect him to hold the fence and the lead. Horse to beat is Pleasing Smile, will sit OSL and needs 1600 after a 7-furlong Syntho debut. I’ve had Eternity Star to win, the exacta and also the Quinella as a little saver!
Wodonga: Race 5, No.11 - STARMAEThis is easier than recent and as long as jumps well from that gate; I expect her forward and hard to get past. Back up to 1200 is a plus in this grade as is the 2kg claim. Track conditions will be perfect. Her form in the autumn in Sydney was really good and if she finds a smidge of luck from gate, she will be mighty hard to beat!
Campbell Brown
Wodonga: Race 5, No.15 - RHODESIAN REDHad to work hard to win last start from a wide gate in an easier race. Drawn to get a much better run today in transit and at $7.50 is a great each-way play.
Moruya: Race 4, No.1 - GEEMESFirst-up for the new stable. Had a reasonable start to the career in Victoria. Finds a very weak midweek race today to build the confidence this prep with a first-up win.
Bowen: Race 3, No.8 - GOT THISSmall field, back in trip, jump lead and run them off their legs will be how this race plays out. Catch me if you can.
