Cam Luke & Campbell Brown have your Tuesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Terang & Newcastle to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
Newcastle: Race 3, No.6 - OAKFIELD IOWA (each-way)She looks like a filly who is going to be really good over distance but I need to have a little play here as well. She’s going to get back from that gate, she will learn a lot and will need the speed on but I think she’s going to be by far the classiest horse in the race. She got back in a trial and hit the line well so expected to run very nicely today and a great each-way play but make sure you brown book her.
Newcastle: Race 6, No.5 - ENNIROCDrops back from a couple of Highways where he ran really well, in particular on Big Dance day. Never runs a bad race, soft track is lovely and is drawn well! All he needs is a smidge of luck when ready to unleash and he’ll be too good! Move She Can is the danger but 2nd-up form is suspect and I have a slight concern over the 1200, so I’m 1 out in the quad.
Terang: Race 3, No.3 - BAZZARI jumped in at Warrnambool where you could find an excuse albeit not as many as I would like. In saying that this race is easier, he stays at the 1200 and he’ll push forward and be prominent. As long as he jumps better today he’ll win in particular since I’lberidin'shotgun is the only other horse I’m concerned about and he is drawn disgusting. Short at $2.40 but very confident he wins!
Terang: Race 5, No.4 - FORAGOODCAUSENot a doubt in mind he should have won last start in a much tougher race than this! Stays at the trip, soft track is delish and can stalk the speed (Ballynacally drawn wide) and bounce late. Fit horse so the speed will help and he’ll be too good!!
Terang: Race 7, No.11 - MATROOSHIIf it wasn’t for the bad bad gate, this girl would be my best of the day. This is easier than last start of Ballarat which she seem to be chasing of a hot tempo long way out and still hit the line really well. She stays at the seven furlongs which I like, soft track won’t pull her up, and if she finds just a smidge of luck ie a backside, she’ll be right in the finish. Had she drawn closer to the inside running rail, She would be my best of the day. I’m still having a crack but maybe just a smidge less than normal.
Campbell Brown
Terang: Race 2, No.15 - PETROULABarriers have hurt the last couple starts. Getting caught wide. Drawn well today, hard fit and has some ability. 4 placings in 8 starts suggests a win isn't far away. Will go forward and put itself in the race. $4.20.
Newcastle: Race 1, No.1 - BLUEBIRD BAYBeen around the mark the last couple starts. This looks a very winnable race. Will go forward and try control things in this small field. $2.
