Tuesday best bets from Luke & Brown (08/07)
Cam Luke & Mitch Lewis have your Tuesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Ballarat (Synthetic), Goulburn, Muswellbrook & Beaudesert in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
BALLARAT (SYNTHETIC)
Race 4 | 4. Volkano
Blinkers on for debut and expect him to jump lead and be the one to catch! Has jumped out really well and expect a little improvement from a couple resuming they didn’t do enough in debuts to expect them to improve enough. He’ll be short but have the double with Nordic.Race 5 | 2. Nordic
Loves the Syntho and was very good resuming after nearly a year off!! Perfectly drawn to stalk the speed (Flux) and can go bang late. Staying at the 1200m works in the small field which means if he jumps well he can push up and ensure speed if needed. I expect him to do exactly what he did last start!
GOULBURN
Race 5 | 3. Wexford Miss
Loves the slop and drops back down from 1500m to the 1400m which are both big ticks. Although a little disappointing last start at Hawkesbury, that was tougher and today is drawn to have absolute run of the race. If the middle of the track is the place to be at some point I think Heywood can get there. Creed will put speed into the race which also helps. Crazy Atom is the only other I have in the quad. Runs well second up, loves Heavy ground and will improve after was ok resuming at Queanbeyan.
MUSWELLBROOK
Race 4 | 5. Swexan
Was pretty good on debut and clearly the step up to the 1450m will work here. Profiles like a horse who will even need further which probably adds merit to a debut in a stronger race over the unsuitable 1100m. Can box seat and maps to have run of the race will be very hard to beat.Race 5 | 7. Tanglewood Jimmy
Has won second up before and nothing to suggest after for a really nice resuming run that it won’t run well again today. He had no luck and still savaged the line so the step up to 1450m again feels perfect. Soft track no concern and r rarely runs a bad race! Will be spit out the back as normal, but there is a fair bit of speed Hot Wok hopefully puts a huge amount of speed into it as does Luskaire if he jumps well. Claim helps and will be in the middle of the track steaming home. Galano the fave is the classiest horse but having to carry 65kg is a bridge too far!

Campbell Brown
BALLARAT (SYNTHETIC)
Race 4 | 8. Succaforyou
Uncle Lindsey has a decent horse here. Debut was sound and I thought last start from a wide gate was good running third. third up today, drawn better and has a race experience and fitness edge over favourite. $4.
GOULBURN
Race 4 | 3. Graphic Sight
Debuted back in December in open company and ran third. Been given more time and a couple of solid trials leading into this maiden for Waterhouse/Bott yard. Jump lead win?? $2.
MUSWELLBROOK
Race 4 | 4. Empress Tsarina
First up for new stable. Been in the placings in 3 of 4 career starts and handles the wet conditions. Jumps from barrier 9 with scratchings. Will be prominent $3.50.
BEAUDESERT
Race 5 | 15. Moet At Midnight
Only one win in 18 starts is the knock but should get run of the race with no weight on the back today. Fit and handles soft track. $4.
