It's official - Spurs are heading to Aotearoa.
As first reported by Sport Nation earlier this month, the English Premier League club will travel to New Zealand for a blockbuster fixture against Auckland FC at Eden Park on Sunday, July 26.
Tottenham will make their way across the ditch after playing the 'Sydney Super Cup', which includes games against A-League side Sydney FC and a showdown with fellow London-based club Chelsea.
The matches will act as warm-ups for the two English sides, with the Premier League scheduled to begin on August 22.
"This is a huge occasion for the club, for football in this country, and most importantly for our fans," says Auckland FC CEO, Nick Becker.

"We haven’t had a club of this size in New Zealand for over 10 years. Now clubs like Tottenham are seeing what we’re doing over here, the growth of football and our passionate fanbase and wanting to get involved."
Whether or not Spurs are still a Premier League side at that stage is yet to be seen, with the North Londoners enduring a horror 2025/26 season which currently has them mired in 17th on the ladder - just one point above the relegation zone.
On Monday, the club announced they'd "mutually agreed" to part ways with their interim manager Igor Tudor after just five weeks.
"Whatever happens to Tottenham this season, they remain an incredibly high-profile team with a worldwide fans base, and we’re delighted to have them here in Auckland with us," Becker added.
Tottenham’s match against the Black Knights will be a Premier League club’s first trip to New Zealand in a dozen years.
In July 2014, the Wellington Phoenix stunned West Ham 2-1 at Eden Park, before losing 1-0 to Newcastle United two days later at their home ground.
Tickets will go on sale April 7.
