20: Netherlands 1974
Iconic vibrant orange strip worn by legend Johan Cruyff. It featured the iconic black Dutch lion crest on the chest, three black stripes on the shoulders and sleeves, and a simple crew neck. Synonymous with Total Football at the 1974 World Cup. The Dutch went on to lose the World Cup final 2-1 to West Germany.
19: France 2006
Worn by Zinedine Zidane, Thierry Henry, Franck Ribery, Patrick Vieira, Claude Makélélé – a historical lineup that fell short against Italy on penalties.
18: Ireland 1994
Classic loose fit away kit, three green stripes with a bright orange number at the heart of the jersey. Part of the classic Group E with Italy, Norway and Mexico, all finishing with four points and zero GD. Advancing from third place, the Irish were knocked out by the Netherlands in the RO16.
17: England 2002

16: Spain 1994
A striking red jersey with a bold design on gold, red and blue triangles down the entire left side. It featured a navy collar and the iconic Spanish Football Federation crest. It embodied La Roja’s vibrant identity during the USA ’94 World Cup. Iconic figures who wore it included Pep Guardiola, José Luis Caminero, Julen Guerrero, and a young Raúl González, who made his tournament debut in the famous kit.

Nigeria's kit in 2018 was a dazzling lime-green Nike jersey covered in bold white chevron, zigzag patterns, with black-and-white chevron sleeves and a clean crew neck. It featured the Nigeria crest and became an instant classic during the Russia World Cup. Worn proudly by John Obi Mikel, Victor Moses and Wilfred Ndidi.

Colombia donned a vibrant yellow Adidas jersey with bold red and blue chevron stripes across the shoulders, a crew neck, and classic Adidas branding. 9: Germany 1994
Think Jürgen Klinsmann and Rudi Völler. This was a clean white Adidas jersey featuring a bold, eye-catching harlequin pattern of black, red, and yellow diamonds across the shoulders and chest that faded downwards. It had a V-neck collar with yellow and red trim and the DFB crest. Worn at USA ’94 where Germany crashed out to Bulgaria in the quarters.
8: France 1998
One of the most famous French kits featured a deep blue Adidas jersey with a V-neck collar, bold red and white horizontal stripes across the chest, and matching red-white-blue striped sleeves. It featured the iconic cockerel crest and became legendary as Les Bleus won the World Cup on home soil. Who can forget Zinedine Zidane's popped collar. A young Patrick Vieira, as well as Didier Deschamps, Emmanuel Petit and Marcel Desailly all wore it proudly in defeating Brazil 3-0 in the Final.
7: USA 1994
A crazy kit when you think about it. Featured a striking blue, white and teal marbled/denim-style jersey with subtle stars and wavy patterns, paired with iconic red shorts. It captured America’s vibrant hosting of the World Cup in 1994. This home kit was famously worn by cult hero Alexi Lalas along with Tab Ramos, Eric Wynalda, Claudio Reyna and captain Tony Meola.
6: Cameroon 2002
The Indomitable Lions wore a bold green kit with a sleeveless, basketball singlet-style jersey designed by Puma. It featured a V-neck, yellow number 9, and national emblems on the chest. Nicknamed the “basketball vest,” it became iconic (and controversial) during their 2002 Africa Cup of Nations victory. FIFA forced them to wear a black undershirt at the '02 World Cup. It was famously worn by Samuel Eto’o, Patrick Mboma, the late Marc-Vivien Foé, Rigobert Song and Pierre Womé.

A classic light blue and white vertically striped jersey with a crew neck, white shorts, and the iconic AFA crest on the chest. Made famous during their triumphant Mexico ’86 World Cup victory. Immortalised by Diego Maradona’s brilliance (and controversy).

As iconic as it gets. Timeless bright yellow jersey with a simple crew neck and green trim on the collar and cuffs, featuring the iconic CBF crest. 1: West Germany 1990
