Title leading Reds hit Ange’s men for six as United fail at home again
Liverpool have created a four-point gap, with a game in hand, from second position after they comfortably defeated Tottenham 6-3 over night.
Arnie Slot’s men wreaked havoc on a Ange Postecoglou side that has struggled to find form recently, with the Spurs now losing their third premier league game from their past four.
Luiz Diaz and Mohamed Salah were standouts again for Liverpool, as both were able to put away two goals each and continue their blistering form.
Despite putting five past last placed Southampton a week ago, the Spurs sit 11th on the table and eight points off a champions league spot as the end of December continues to near.
Manchester United continue to find it hard to build consistent form, as they lost to Bournemouth at home 3-0.
The Red Devils dominated the match, creating 23 shots to 10 over the cherries, yet only registering seven of those on target.
To go along with the 13 corners to one, United threw away multiple opportunities to gain the three points and move closer towards the top five, as they sit in 13th after 17 games played so far this season.
Despite having a season to forget so far, Wolverhampton have moved to two points away from escaping the relegation zone as they defeated Leicester City away from home 3-0.

Goals from Goncalo Guedes, Rodrigo Gomes and Matheus Cunha helped ensure the Wolves would gain their third win of the season.
There was nothing separating Everton and Chelsea overnight, as they played out a spicy 0-0 draw at Goodison Park.
Everton had plenty of opportunities late to claim a famous win over the second placed Chelsea yet couldn’t finish the job and therefore cement their seventh draw of the season.
Crystal Palace, Brighton and Fulham are the only other clubs to have recorded as many draws with Everton so far this season.
Last placed Southampton escaped Craven Cottage with a much-needed point, as they held Fulham goalless to create a 0-0 draw.
