Gold Coast have underlined their status as NRLW premiership contenders by ending Wests Tigers' five-game winning streak in an emphatic 58-0 victory.
But they may have to count the cost of locking up second spot as rugby sevens convert Teagan Levi injured her nose and failed her HIA after an ugly tackle from five-eighth Losana Lutu.
The Titans (9-1) knew a win at Campbelltown Sports Ground on Sunday would propel them four points clear of third-placed Brisbane and earn them a home preliminary final with one round remaining.
Gold Coast had scored six unanswered four-pointers, including a hat-trick by centre Jaime Chapman, before Levi left the field on the stroke of halftime.
The visitors shook off the loss of their star playmaker, running in four more tries to register the second-largest victory in competition history.

Upton's efforts also opened some breathing room between the Broncos (7-3) and their rivals, boosting the defending premiers' hopes of earning a home elimination final.
But Upton won't be happy with her side after they committed a mammoth 16 errors despite the fullback giving them a verbal rev-up at halftime.
Both teams traded tries to start the game, but two moments of brilliance from Upton set up backrower Lauren Dam and centre Georgia Bartlett.
After her side led 18-6 at the break, Upton burst through a hole and stormed over before Dragons winger Shenae Ciesiolka and halfback Kasey Reh crossed for consolation four-pointers.
For St George Illawarra (2-8), the loss keeps them equal on points with last place, and they'll play fellow strugglers Cronulla (2-8) next Saturday in a potential decider for the wooden spoon.
