The top five wins at Moonee Valley & Randwick on Saturday
Saturday’s racing across Moonee Valley and Randwick saw some massive wins by several horses.
From Via Sistina declaring herself as a legend to Lindermann dominating as a short priced favourite, the day had plenty of fantastic stories.
See the top five wins from Saturday below:
1 – Via Sistina
How can you not go past Via Sistina winning back-to-back Cox Plate's as the best victory of the weekend.
The legendary mare fought till the line, just edging out her stablemate Buckaroo.
You can't watch this victory and not get emotional.
What a way to send off The Valley!

2 – Observer
Talk about arrogance!
Observer was 4 lengths in front with 200m to go and at the 100m mark Mark Zahra put the whip away and eased the colt over the line.
Observer is now the short favourite for the Derby, off the back of that 2040m win.

3 – Attica
Shangri La Boy was a HUGE leader at the 200m mark, looking like he was cruising home to a victory in the Group 1 Champion Stakes, but then Attica ruined his party.
The colt bolted home and passed by Shangri La Boy just before the line.
A must watch!

4 – Lindermann
Lindermann finds himself on this list again, after dominating in the Group 3 Craven Plate.
He was a VERY short priced favourite and won like how one should.
The Chris Waller trained gelding is having a fantastic preparation!

5 – Von Hauke
595 days after his previous win, Von Hauke salutes once again.
An absolute peach of a ride by Ethan Brown delivered the gelding his first ever Group 2 victory.
