The Group 1 Caulfield Cup for horses aged three years and older will be run over 2400m at Caulfield on Saturday.
Duke De Sessa won last year’s edition after Without A Fight (2023), Durston (2022), Incentivise (2021) and Verry Elleegant (2020) before him.

It feels the horse to beat is HALF YOURS at the low weight which he will carry (52.5kg).
His form this preparation has been excellent, including a Group 3 Naturalism Stakes victory (2000m) and a blistering sprint home in the Group 1 Turnbull Stakes (2400m) to finish fourth.
Jamie Melham is in the saddle, which is a big tick, and there is no reason why she shouldn't be able to win her first ever Caulfield Cup.
At the low weight, Half Yours looks set for a victory here!
ROYAL SUPREMACY is also carrying 52.5kg and is coming off an impressive 2400m Group 1 victory at Randwick in the Metropolitan - must be included in the exotics.
While MIDDLE EARTH, VAUBAN and ADELAIDE RIVER all provide value at juicy odds.
It’s a wide open affair with 18 runners, as the Caulfield Cup always is, but Half Yours should prove supreme.
