Join Sam Ackerman and Mitch James for another World Cup edition of The Finals Countdown to preview the second round of the 2026 Rugby League World Cup.
This week’s episode breaks down the Kiwis' match on home soil where they take on the Cook Islands in Christchurch, looking to clinch their first win of the World Cup after their opening defeat to Australia.
The hosts reflect on where the Kiwis came up short in their captivating clash with the Kangaroos, before diving deep into what we can expect against the Kukis.
The lads are also joined live by Kiwis fullback Keano Kini for a chat about his World Cup experience so far and his increased role in the absence of superstar Kalyn Ponga.
