Auckland FC have officially announced the signing of Australian winger Lachlan Brook.
Brook, 24, joins the club from Major League Soccer side Real Salt Lake, bringing with him over 100 professional appearances and 18 goals across his career.
“It is great to be in Auckland and part of an exciting club set up,” says Brook.
“There is so much hype and noise for this team and what they have achieved on and off the pitch. I have heard so much about the fans and the numbers that turn out to support us.
“I can’t wait to get out there and show them what I am all about. To say I’m raring to go would be an understatement.”
Born in Gawler, South Australia, Brook began his senior career with Adelaide United, debuting in the 2017/18 season.

He made 29 appearances for the club and played a key role in their 4–0 win in the 2019 FFA Cup Final. That same season, he was named Adelaide United Youth Player of the Year.
In 2020, Brook signed a three-year deal with English Championship club Brentford before being loaned to Crew Alexandra. Then in League 2, he played 34 times for the Chesire club in 22/23 season.
He returned to the A-League with Western Sydney Wanderers, where he enjoyed a standout campaign scoring nine goals in 23 games.
Auckland FC head coach Steve Corica sees Brook as a strong addition to the Black Knights' squad for the club's sophomore season.
“He’s versatile, has an eye for goal and knows the league,” says Corica.
“He achieved some great things at Adelaide and Western Sydney Wanderers and with more than 100 games here and abroad he’s a proven professional. It is no secret we needed to boost our attack this season so we’re looking forward to having him at Auckland.”
Internationally, Brook has represented Australia at U18 and U23 levels, scoring the winner in the 2019 AFF U18 Championship Final. He also featured in the 2022 and 2024 AFC U23 Asian Cups and the 2024 WAFF U23 Championship.
