“Hard to beat”: Gannon's Saturday best at Randwick (07/02)
Leading form analyst Mick Gannon from TheGreatTipOff and SENTrack & RSN has provided his best bets for the weekend of racing.
Gannon has targeted Randwick on Saturday.

RANDWICK
Race 2, No.16 Rose Aye
Last start can be overlooked after she was asked to work early from a wide gate on a rain-affected surface and paid the price late. The return to 1200m on a dry track is far more suitable and plays to her strengths. Matthew Dale securing James McDonald for a Highway is a notable move, and from barrier 12 she should be able to push forward and find a favourable on-speed position. Well placed to bounce back.
Race 5, No.7 Montee Veebee
Resumed in outstanding order, taking control on speed before quickening well late, closing with one of the fastest final sectionals of the meeting to win comfortably. He rises in class but benefits from a 3kg weight drop and maps perfectly in a race where early pressure looks limited. With natural improvement second-up, a similar performance will see him very hard to beat.
