Ange Postecoglou may still be licking his wounds from his recent sacking by Nottingham Forest but he may feel some level of relief when he hears he has Snoop Dogg in his corner.
The long-time Celtic fan and rapping superstar has thrown his support behind the Australian being reinstated as boss at the Scottish side.
Last week, Brendan Rodgers, who succeeded Postecoglou at Celtic, resigned with Martin O'Neill and Shaun Maloney brought in on a temporary basis.
But with Postecoglou a free agent having been sacked after just 39 days and zero wins at Forest, Snoop wants him back.
“You got to give Martin O’Neill big respect, he is coming back when we need him,” Snoop Dogg told Scottish newspaper the Daily Record.
“I think you got to bring Ange back, the club are gonna do what they are gonna do but the fans would love to see him back,”
“I don’t know about coach, but as an investor sure. Investing in Celtic is something I have talked about in the past and if the opportunity was right I would be down for it.
“Celtic is a huge club and fans want to see the best players playing in this great stadium. All the owners have got to do is ask.”
Postecoglou won back-to-back Scottish titles when he was in charge at Celtic before leading Tottenham to victory in the Europa League final earlier this year.
He was sacked by Spurs just weeks after defeating Manchester United in the final.
Across all things in Australian sport, Snoop Dogg was also the entertainment for this year's AFL Grand Final.
