SANDOWN
Race 3 | 4. Sacred Rocks
Looks a two horse race on paper but I’m taking the horse with a significant drop in grade. Nothing against no strings attached win but competition here is harder sacred rocks draws inside it should get run of the race and be too strong with the drop in grade.
Race 5 | 2. Stormfront
I’ve had this horse in my black book for sometime really like the two wins at Pakenham and Cranbourne last prep jump outs were solid. Ben Melham on board tick and Clint McDonald stable flying really good each way price.
Race 6 | 6. Exuberance
On my first draft I had this as a two horse race between Exuberance and Summer Flame. With the scratching this horse has to become a best bet shin from sis first up at this trip after a solid Cranbourne trial tick tick.
STRATHALBYN
Race 3 | 5. Buckingham Palace
Former Waterhouse runner whose first prep form should be far too good for these trials were solid new stable should jump on the bunny lead and be too strong.
Race 5 | 1. Naralinga
There is some bias with this horse but the last up form has stacked up extremely well, most of the horses around it last up have run well and or won. That Murray Bridge run it was three wide the trip covered more ground than any horse and finish two lengths off them, inside draw helps, box seat and get a crack late.
WARWICK FARM
Race 5 | 4. House Of Cards
Another one I’ve had in the book for sometime especially after last prep going under to Yorkshire at Warwick farm and winning a 64 at a short quote at Hawkesbury not long after. First up run at Warwick Farm very good in a 72 and only has to beat climb the ladder who’s drawn poorly in 11 big step up for it from that Sandown maiden albeit climb the ladder one well beating a handy one but happy to take on the favourite and get this home.
