Race 1 | 4. Excenia
Comes out of a much better race at Flemington and expect a corner today to help her improve as well as race day experience. Ran through the line well so expect the 1100m will suit, drawn a sad sticky so hopefully she gets some luck but the jockey is a gun so I’ll back him in. Affirmative Smile is your fav and has jumped out ok without being asked to do much! Hayes brothers are flying in all facets especially their 2yo stocks.
Race 6 | 5. Fire Wheel
Should have nearly won last start at Morphettville. Issue is he has drawn gate 1 again so luck again needed. The speed is drawn wide with play on words and Chico Sonado so hopefully Luke Currie can ease off the fence over their heels early. Back to 1300m will be ok as there is speed in the race! Good track is perfect and stable is flying and I expect this fit horse to go very close!
Race 7 | 2. Fayetta
Excuses last start and the tongue tie goes on which suggests she might have choked down. Up to the 1400m is a plus as is the easier contest. Drawn nicely and blinkers off expect her to travel well a couple pairs off the leader (Snappy Pierro)!
HAWKESBURY
Race 2 | 5. Manukau
Was slow away on debut and never really threatened in a tougher race. On top of the ground mixed with race experience and the extra 100m makes me feel this horse will improve a lot second time at the races.
Race 5 | 9. Jayashree
Drawn perfectly to get the 2000m at first crack! Was great last start beaten by a horse who would have started fav Saturday. Will have the race fitness on her side and can control the race by coming off the heels of Golden Pierro and staking the speed.

BENDIGO
Race 8 | 13. Guerite
Strong stable mail. $8.50 into $3.60 for Uncle Lindsey. Showed potential first prep winning second up. Soft trial leading into today. Money suggests a big performance.
HAWKESBURY
Race 2 | 7. Twinkling Star
Improving each start. Liked the way he fought into second last start in small field. Expecting Regan Bayliss to jump, lead and take some catching today. $2.10.
MACKAY
Race 3 | 7. Torque Of Dreams
On quick back up. Made it my best Friday and ran well into second. Looked absolutely home with 200m to go and was collared late. Back from 1400m to 1300m and senior jockey on is the key.
