Punters have a marathon day of racing in Hobart on Sunday, with a 10-race card beginning at 10:47.
The rail moves into the true position, which should provide fresh ground on the inside after the rail was +11m for the meeting a fortnight ago.
The weather forecast is good for this time of year, which should mean a track in the 4-5 range.

Race 7 – 1. Skin In The Game
It took Skin In The Game until his four-year-old season to debut, but it’s undoubtedly been worth the wait as he chases a winning hat-trick on Sunday. Trainer Brendan McShane’s patience has been rewarded, and he’s sticking to a winning formula, keeping the horse at 1400m in Hobart, where his previous three career starts have been. He won like a good horse last time, with the quinella gapping the rest, providing me with confidence that he can keep winning as he rises to class 2 level.

Race 10 – 3. Rich Clan
It’s been over two years since Rich Clan last tasted victory. However, I think that run of outs can end on Sunday. He struck a strong BM60 last time, boxing on well on a strong lead tempo behind Earendel, who has subsequently won again in Devonport. This race has less depth, and he gets in with 57kg once again, with apprentice Chris Pang retaining the ride. His figure form and SP profile suggest he’ll be an each-way price and I’ll happily have something on.

Race 6 – 5. Goddess of Rock
It wasn’t a pretty watch for Goddess of Rock last start. Boxed in on the rail in a farcically slow 2100m race, she had the fastest closing splits on the program but still missed the placings. The nature of that race (slowly run, bunched finish) could easily see form reversals, and with more luck in-running, I can see Goddess of Rock turning the tables. Given where she finished against the same opposition last time, I can see her opening up over the odds.
