PORT MACQUARIERace 5, No.3 - Kasuke
Probably need a little longer but is clearly the class horse in this race! Went around in the Gloaming before getting spelled. Hadn’t trialled well but Morgan on is a good sign
Race 7, No.8 - Pony Saprano
Best named horse in Oz right now. Drawn poorly but speed outside him (outreach and Bomarea) should help. Stays at the 1200 which might help him if he has to travel a tad wide. Was gutsy last start and I expect similar today.
BENALLARace 4, No.8 - Silent Call
Had Zero luck on debut and to be fair wasn’t horrid. Drawn perfect and should get a gun ride from Lane. 1600 should suit and I expect him to sit either lead or box in a tricky speed map and win.
Race 6, No.1 - Kate's Tiara
Had no real luck the last 2 in town and the claim offsets the high weight! Might enjoy a little give in the ground a tad more but is drawn to have a nice run and has won 4th up before!
Race 7, No.8 - Dirty Grin
Resumes today and has good form albeit without winning fresh! Nick Ryan takes over and I expect him to run a lot better than the jump out. Drawn nicely and hope he sits OSL or 1 out 1 back in behind Real Gun. Best horse is probably Fragile Love but was bad last start and Mare out of form ect ect.
ARARATRace 2, No.4 - Moonraker
New stable (ex Snowden) and has finished behind Emirate, Shall Be and Anode in its 3 races. Been a while but been gelded and easily won a jump out at Geelong. GR1 Jock on board and expect to jump, lead and win!
Race 6, No.4 - Cheval Savant #CamLovesACup
This horse ran in the ATC derby a few years back (didn’t handle heavy) Ran 2nd this time last year and feels it has been set for this! Barrier 1 is perfect to control the race and Johnny Allen is having a great weekend!
