Cam Luke
Grafton: Race 5, No.11 - Idol ShotDrawn a tad awkward but not a huge amount of speed so should be able to shuffle over ok. Good track form is better than it reads and I think up to the 2200m helps here. This is easier than last start and should be in it for a long way. Magadan the danger but if he shuffles back I think the speed will be too slow for him to run on. This is a lot easier than last start at the GC.
Albury: Race 4, No.4 - UnowhoHas had no barrier luck last couple in slightly tougher races. Should be able to control this race easily from that gate. 2000 is perfect not a huge amount of speed in the race so hopefully gets easy time in front. Good track no concern but with Dusty’s Deel scratched this bloke is as short as you’d want to back him at.
Albury: Race 5, No.4 - CharWasn’t too bad resuming when drawn badly. This is a similar type of race, is drawn better, has won 2nd up , loves Albury , trainer is flying , stays at the 1600 and is at his best on top of the ground. Extravagant Choice will be hard to beat. It think he is better on heavy deck as he was last start at Goulburn where he was really good.
Sam Hyland
Albury: Race 6, No.6 - Dupride StarThis mare has been thereabouts at her last two runs & The Star goes well at this track. She will settle off speed & come with a run, has some weight relief with Holly Durnan on board, and can run well here.
Grafton: Race 4, No.6 - Once A LadyA mare on her home track where she won her maiden & Millie Thompson takes 2kg off which gives her good weight pull from those up the top of the weights. She will be positive in the run & give a great sight.
