Cam Luke & Campbell Brown have your Tuesday sorted on Trackside.
The lads have taken a close look at Wangaratta, Muswellbrook & Wagga in a bid to find the family some winners.
See their best bets below:👇
Cam Luke
WANGARATTA
Race 2 | 4. Royal Infantry
Was really good resuming in a tougher race last start in a race Quinella’d by the leaders when he was back second last. Had no luck when trying to storm home and still hit line well suggesting the 1300m is suitable. Both speed horses are drawn inside him (Elegant Man/Gregarious Girl) so can make a call early on how far he drifts back from that nice gate. Fave is drawn too wide to win.
Race 8 | 12. Runlikenencryption
Won really well on debut when sitting three wide albeit with cover. Has jumped out well without being asked to do heaps so I like the 1000m here rather than 1100m. Not a huge amount of speed so will go forward and have a great run in race from a nice gate. Was a little green on debut as well so experience and maturity another plus in a race where we have seen many others much more and this filly clearly has way more upside.
MUSWELLBROOK
Race 6 | 6. Syrian Star
Found excuses when beaten last start in a Highway by Ballinderry Sal who also runs here. I am siding with Syrian Star. Better gate, weight swing and I think is better on heavy than soft. I think they both will have the measure in the fave due to fitness and distance range and I am with the Star.
WAGGA
Race 4 | 3. Jato
Was great belting them at Albury a couple of weeks ago and the step up to the mile looks perfect. From that perfect gate she will get almost the identical run in transit behind the speed horse the favourite Fear No Evil who was pretty good in the Mornington Guineas but I’m with the Filly.
Race 7 | 10. Medatsu (#CamLovesACup)
Had absolutely no chance in the Albury cup on a slowish tempo and then had no luck in the straight and still hit the line really well for fifth. I think we will see faster tempo today giving him a chance to run home hard! Bear On The Loose will be the speed horse but little quarry on the 2000m so in K Mac we trust to get Medatsu home!
Race 8 | 1. Salute Again
Should’ve won last start in the highway in town when hit the line for third when finally got clear. Has to carry a decent weight but 3kg claim helps and it makes him the one to beat down in class! Not a massive amount of speed so back to the 1300m it wouldn’t shock me to see a squeeze forward and be a little closer than last start when he was midfield.
Campbell Brown
WANGARATTA
Race 3 | 10. En Flique
Was never beaten far in all four runs in first prep. Bumped into a couple very nice horses. Trialled up well, smart claim and the favourite is a non winner. $3.90 is a nice price.
MUSWELLBROOK
Race 5 | 2. Bertie
Kim Waugh runners always go well when there has been market support. This horse loves the heavy going and I'm expecting a bold run at $5.
WAGGA
Race 4 | 1. Fear No Evil
Waterhouse/Bott runner that won first two comfortably before an ok performance in Mornington Oaks. Will jump and lead and be hard to beat today.
