She drew horribly first up & rightly went back before making ground in the straight behind Sunrays & Pretty Dubious, that pair won the two Jewel Preludes last Saturday. In her trials she showed speed suggesting from the good draw this afternoon she’ll park a lot closer.
RACE 6 # 6 SET TO SHIINECaught the eye late flashing home here over 1200m back in January. We didn’t see her for another 4 weeks which was always of concern plus the rise to 1400m, had she missed some work? Well punters didn’t think so being heavily backed however she ran into some trouble in the straight & even allowing for that I’d suggest she wasn’t going to win. Fitter & far better placed today.
RACE 9 # 11 TERMAGANTSuper consistent mare who made up for a very unlucky defeat two back with a dominant last start win at Doomben. She should balance up handy today & with that sharp turn of foot she possesses I’d suggest she quickly put a gap in her rivals down the straight.
