Canberra racing is on the quick back-up this Friday with the second of three December meetings at Thoroughbred Park.
The rail is out 9m and we’ll be on a Good-4 for a competitive meeting with some strong fields to finish the day.

Race 1 #1 Victory At Omaha
It’s an even affair to begin proceedings tomorrow over the mile and I am keen to side with some value in Victory At Omaha.
This Theresa Bateup-trained 7YO comes out of the Queanbeyan Cup where he was taken on from the outset up the top. While he was beaten 4 lengths, he beat the other speed horse home easily and there looks to be much less speed in this assignment.
They will be positive on him and will lead or sit outside of the leader. The rail out and the firm track suits and I think he can beat home the talented Icebreaker who will have to give him a nice start on the turn.
Race 3 #1 Missy No Nay
A speedster, Missy No Nay for Lauri Parker will give them something to chance in this moderate Class 1 contest.
It was a fair effort last start when 3rd over the Snake Gully Cup Carnival and it looks like there’s less speed engaged in this.
She was a nice winner of a strong Super Maiden the last time she was 4th up into a preparation and from barrier 3 and JVO booked, I think she’ll make every post a winner at nice odds.
