Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is thrilled to announce that Morning Glory with Matty Johns will return in 2026, continuing its reign as a Friday morning favourite for rugby league fans across New South Wales and Queensland.
The show kicks off on Friday 6 February, 2026, airing weekly from 9am to midday AEDT/AEST across SEN 1170am in Sydney, SENQ 693am in Brisbane, and SEN 1620am on the Gold Coast, running all the way through to the NRL Grand Final in October.
Matty Johns, who first joined SEN in 2020, has become a staple of the network’s rugby league coverage. His Friday show is known for its signature mix of footy talk, humour and unpredictable entertainment, with fan-favourite segments like Movie of the Week, Morning Glory Jeopardy, and plenty of surprises returning in 2026.
In addition to his Friday show, Johns will continue his twice-weekly appearances on The Run Home with Joel and Fletch (with Joel Caine and Bryan Fletcher) airing live every Tuesday and Thursday at 5pm. That means fans can catch Matty three times a week on the home of Rugby League.
SEN Chief Executive Officer, Craig Hutchison, added he was thrilled to have Johns remain a part of the SEN family in 2026.
“Matt is the ultimate rugby league media showman, as brilliant with his expertise and insight into the game as he is creative and relatable to his loved audiences.
“‘Morning Glory With Matty Johns’ is must-listen content each Friday and his twice-weekly appearances on The Run Home with Joel and Fletch are compulsive listening.
“We are rapt that Matty’s unique blend of humour, insight and entertainment is reloading for another big year in 2026.”
