Important update on 1476AMSEG commits to broadcasting local footy, nationwide (DONT PUBLISH 8am)

Sports Entertainment Group’s (SEG) commitment to local and live elite and community sport has ramped up, with confirmation it will broadcast 11 Australian Rules Football leagues across the year.
Full details of the relevant leagues, as well as where and when they can be heard are outlined below:
South Australian National Football League (SANFL)
Heard on SEN SA 1629am and on the SEN app, commentators for the SANFL will include Paul Bonsor, Dan Menzel, Jack Hannath, Eugene Warrior, Brodie Smith and Declan Hamilton, with a designated ‘game of the week’ broadcast across each weekend.
__West Australian Football League (WAFL) __
Heard on the SEN WA app, SEN will broadcast the ‘game of the week ‘each Saturday afternoon, as well as other scheduled marquee matches. The commentary team for 2026 will include Jimmy Williams, Steve Malaxos and Peter Vlahos.
__Victorian Football League (VFL) __
During the Tasmania Devils’ inaugural season, SEN Tasmania will broadcast all their home and away matches on radio via SEN Tassie 1629am into Hobart, via SENTrack 1611am into Launceston and Devonport, plus they will also be streamed onto the SEN app.
The commentary team will include David ‘Flash’ Lithgow, Brent Costelloe, Russell Robertson, Josh Green and Brett Geappen.
Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA)
The VAFA ‘match of the round’ will be broadcast live every Saturday afternoon on the SEN app and via SEN Stadium, where fans at the ground can listen to the broadcast live, without delay. Commentary will be led by Matthew Donald, Hugo Higginbotham and legendary VAFA Hall of Fame caller, Simon Petch.
South West Football League (SWFL)
Broadcasting the ‘match of the round’ each weekend on SENSpirit Bunbury 621am and SENSpirit South West 1494am, as well as the SEN app, commentators each week will be Alan Crane and Darren McDonald. The broadcast can also be watched exclusively on the SEN app in Western Australia.
Goulburn Valley League (GVL)
Broadcast on SEN Goulburn Valley 1260am and the SEN app, each week a game will be broadcast by commentators Jack Brophy and Ryleigh Shannon.
Ellinbank & District Football League (EDFNL)
Broadcasting on SENTrack Latrobe Valley 91.9fm and on the SEN app the ‘game of the round’ every Saturday afternoon, commentators each week will be Rob Goodwin and Dylan Beaumont.
West Gippsland Football League (WGFNC)
Heard on SENTrack South West Gippsland 91.3fm and on the SEN app broadcasting the ‘game of the round’ every Saturday afternoon, commentators each week will be Ian Dougherty and Aiden Box.
__Goldfields Football League (GFL) __
Broadcasting the ‘match of the round’ every Saturday afternoon across regional Western Australia on SEN Goldfields 1611am, SEN Midwest, SEN Pilbara and SEN Great Southern.
Commentators will include Ian Dunstan, Royce Newton and Glenn Wilson.
Perth Football League
Broadcasting the ‘match of the round’ every Saturday from 1pm AWST, which can be heard via the SEN app. The commentary team will be made up of Tim Lee and Ric Crosara.
Northern Territory Football League (NTFL)
Whilst the NTFL has just wrapped up for another year - with the Grand Final being held on March 14 – SEN is gearing up to broadcast another NTFL season later in the year, scheduled to run from October 2026 to March 2027, and broadcast across SEN Top End 1611am and SENTrack Top End 90.7fm.
Taking into account all of the above leagues, plus SEN’s AFL, NRL, netball and racing coverage over the winter months, this means on Saturday afternoons there can be up to 15 simultaneous broadcasts available at the same time via the SEN app.
