Sports Entertainment Network (SEN) is thrilled to confirm its weekend racing coverage on RSN, headlined by the return to the track in Melbourne every Saturday afternoon across the Spring Carnival.
Additionally, RSN will once again broadcast all metropolitan races on Saturday in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide and Brisbane, as well as across Victoria.
The move will see the return of Brisbane racing to the station every Saturday afternoon.
RSN Saturday Raceday, hosted by RSN legend John Henry, will be heard every Saturday afternoon from 12pm – 6pm.
Henry will be joined on Saturdays by leading form analysts and tipsters Miles Pfitzner and Mick Gannon, with the pair on location at the Melbourne metro track to bring listeners to most up-to-date news and opinions as they happen for the Melbourne card.
RSN is also pleased to announce that popular hosts Travis Noonan and Nick Noonan will remain with the network, hosting programming across Saturday and Sunday mornings.
The brothers will host the First Word from 6am-8am each Saturday morning, as well as Correct Weight on Sunday mornings from 9-11am.
As previously announced, popular tipsters David Gately, Mark Hunter and Miles Pfitzner will host the iconic Melbourne Form Preview Hour from 8am – 9am on RSN each Saturday morning.
On Sundays, Patrick Doyle will then host RSN Sunday Raceday – bringing racing fans live racing coverage from across the country.
Live coverage on Saturday nights will also return, with Saturday Night Trackside broadcasting all the key greyhound and harness racing meetings every Saturday night.
Sports Entertainment Network CEO Craig Hutchison said the increased coverage was part of SEN’s commitment to racing across both RSN and SENTrack:
“At SEN we’re all-in on racing and our new RSN weekend coverage is testament to that,” Hutchison said.
“To be able to take the iconic RSN brand back to the racetrack in Melbourne every Saturday afternoon across the Spring Carnival is a really important move for the audience, and to have the highly-regarded Miles and Mick on-course will be brilliant for all racing fans.
“Additionally, we’re so excited to be able to have the Brisbane races broadcast live once again across the RSN network. We know how much the audience has wanted this and it’s great to be able to add that back into the Saturday coverage.”
