SEN Breakfast widens gap as Australia’s leading radio podcast
Sports Entertainment Network’s (SEN) SEN Breakfast has further cemented its position as Australia’s number one radio podcast, opening up an even greater gap on its nearest competitors in the latest Australian Podcast Ranker results for March 2026.
Ranked #10 overall across all Australian podcasts, SEN Breakfast remains the highest‑ranked radio show podcast in the country, extending its lead at the top of the category. Last month, Kyle & Jackie O sat one position behind SEN Breakfast in the rankings, however, the latest results show a clear separation, with Ben Fordham Live now the closest radio competitor at #17, followed by 3AW Breakfast with Ross and Russel at #88.
SEN Breakfast - which features Fireball with Kane & Kingy (with Kane Cornes and David King) on Mondays and Fridays, and Breakfast with Garry & Tim (with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson) from Tuesday to Thursday – had 395,189 monthly listeners and 1,398,899 monthly downloads for March 2026.
However, SEN Breakfast also continues to outperform not only competing radio offerings but competing sport and footy offerings too in the podcast space, cementing its status as the industry benchmark. Next to comparative AFL-specific podcasts, SEN Breakfast outranks Dan Does Footy (#15), Triple M Footy AFL (#36) and Dyl & Friends (#46) in both monthly listeners and monthly downloads, as well as long-form general sports interview podcast, The Howie Games (#37).
In total, SEN accounted for 17 of the Top 300 Australian podcasts, a figure unmatched by any other sports media network, and a result that once again highlights the strength of live sport, opinion and analysis in the on‑demand audio market. Across all SEN-produced podcasts, the network recorded 866,000 unique listens and 4.2M downloads for the month of March.
SEN’s diverse podcast offering was reflected across football, racing and daily sports programming, with the following SEN-produced shows also making the Australian Top 300 Podcast Ranker in March:
#49 Whateley (with Gerard Whateley)#104 Giddy Up with Gareth Hall#110 The Sounding Board (with Craig Hutchison and Damian Barrett)#126 Sportsday (with Gerard Healy, Ken Hinkley and Sam Edmund)#134 The Run Home with Joel & Fletch (with Bryan Fletcher and Justin Horo/Chad Townsend)#181 Crunch Time#185 Morning Glory with Matty Johns#200 Kick Off with Brandy & Jimmy (with Greg ‘Brandy’ Alexander and Jimmy Smith)#218 SEN Afternoons (Dwayne’s World with Dwayne Russell)#227 SEN Breakfast WA (featuring Peter Bell, Tim Gossage and Scott Cummings)#234 The Run Home with Andy & Gazey (with Andy Maher and Andrew Gaze)#238 The Rabbit Hole (with Garry Lyon and Tim Watson)#246 SEN League#251 Mornings with Mark Duffield#264 Off the Bench (with Craig Hutchison and Liam Pickering)#273 Don’t Shoot The Messenger (with Corrie Perkin and Caroline Wilson)
Notably, Giddy Up with Gareth Hall, is once again the Ranker’s top racing podcast for the month of March.
SEN Chief Executive, Craig Hutchison, said the results reflected SEN’s commitment to building meaningful, authentic connections with sports fans across platforms.
“It is a great reward for our hard-working SEN Melbourne breakfast team to be the number 1 radio podcast in Australia from a total listeners and total download perspective,” Hutchison said.
“This result is supported by real depth across the network. To have 17 SEN titles in the Australian Top 300, while holding the top position in radio, sport, football and racing podcasts, speaks to the strength and scale of what SEN is producing nationally.
“The results in New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia and beyond are particularly pleasing.
“Our audiences are choosing when and how they listen and we love that they are embracing at such scale our highly connected sports entertainment programs, right across the country.”
